Free phone friendships for senior adults across the UK

Everyone deserves someone to talk to.

We match senior adults across the UK with someone they'll enjoy talking to, then connect you by telephone on a private line. An ordinary phone is all you need — no computer, no apps and no technical know-how. Every call is arranged and confirmed by phone, with a simple press of a button.

  • Every member's phone and identity is verified
  • Calls recorded for safety — announced at the start
  • Your phone number stays private
  • Set up by you or your family

Four simple steps

  1. 1

    Tell us about yourself

Your first name, your interests, what's going on in your life and the sort of chat you enjoy. About five minutes — family can do it for you.

  2. 2

    We confirm it's really you

Before anything begins, we check your telephone number (a quick call — just press 1) and your identity. Every member is verified the same way.

  3. 3

We find someone you'll get on with

Matched on shared interests, favourite topics and life circumstances — the things that make a conversation flow. You both agree before any call happens.

  4. 4

You talk on a private line

A regular weekly slot, with a friendly reminder call before each one. Your real number is never shown, and calls may be recorded to help keep everyone safe.

Matched on what matters

Two people who both love gardening and both enjoy a long Sunday natter will get on far better than two strangers who simply live nearby. So compatibility comes first — shared interests, favourite topics and life circumstances — and where you live doesn't come into it.

What goes into a match

We compare the things that make a conversation enjoyable, and only suggest someone when there is plenty in common.

  • What you both enjoy

Gardening, football, crosswords, cooking — shared interests give you plenty to talk about.

  • What you like to talk about

Family, history, music, the news — the subjects that make a conversation easy and enjoyable.

  • What's going on in your life

Bereaved, living alone, new to an area — shared circumstances can make that first chat much easier.

  • When you like to chat

A weekly catch-up or a long Sunday natter — we pair people who suit each other's rhythm.

Private by design

Calls run through a private platform number on a regular weekly slot. Neither person ever sees the other's real number, address or surname. Calls may be recorded for safety and safeguarding — both people hear a spoken notice at the start of every call, and recordings are deleted after 90 days.

Family can help

A son, daughter or carer can create the profile — we always confirm with the person themselves before any introduction.

One call at a time

One introduction at a time, so it never feels overwhelming. A friendly reminder call comes before each slot, and you can pause or stop whenever you want.
